    All of our empanada fillings are fully cooked. However, our heat-and-serve empanadas require a bit more love to get them to the table.

    Deep Fry Method: Our preferred method of cooking. In a thick pot, heat 1-2 inches of neutral oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the empanadas to the hot oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes or the dough is golden and crispy or until heated through.

    Oven Method: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Transfer the empanadas into an oven-safe dish and leave uncovered. Heat in the oven for 15-20 minutes or the dough is golden and crispy or until heated through.

    Air Fryer Method: Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and place the empanadas in the tray. Heat for 8 - 12 minutes or until the dough is golden and crispy and heated through.

  • Plantilla (dough): wheat flour, water, achiote (for color and seasoning), seasonings

    Beef filling: ground beef, chili peppers, red onions, tomato sauce, cilantro, seasonings

    Chicken filling: chicken, sofrito, cilantro, seasonings

    Pork filling: pork, sofrito, cilantro, garlic, vinegar, seasonings

    Vegetarian filling: beans, calabaza squash, cheese (dairy), seasonings
